Raids in Puerto Princesa yield pangolin scales seizures and arrests

PHILIPPINES - It was reported on January 18, 2012 that the police raided a junk shop in Puerto Princesa, Palawan which resulted in the seizure of 7 kilograms of Pangolin scales and the arrest of 3 suspects facing charges of violating the Wildlife Resources Conservation and Protection Act. Another suspect/poacher was arrested in another recent raid.
