Myanmar hosts the ASEAN-WEN’s 5th Annual Meeting At the 5th Annual Meeting of the ASEAN-WEN in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar, Southeast Asian governments and international partners expressed strong commitments to further foster law enforcement and strengthen collaboration to tackle wildlife crime. Significant progress by authorities was acknowledged in wildlife crime prosecution, judicial mechanisms, and transnational investigations of African ivory trafficking.
